Privacy Policy

How Synergic Sourcing collects, uses, shares, and safeguards personal information for suppliers, buyers, and visitors — wherever you are in the world.

In plain terms: Synergic Sourcing connects wholesale suppliers and buyers. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace, process memberships, and keep accounts secure. We do not sell your personal information, and we share it only with the service providers and parties needed to deliver our service.

01 Who we are

Synergic Sourcing (“Synergic Sourcing,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website www.synergicsourcing.com and the related B2B wholesale-sourcing marketplace. We are based in Niagara Falls, New York, USA, and we serve suppliers and buyers both locally and internationally.

Synergic Sourcing is the business responsible for the personal information described in this policy. We comply with applicable U.S. federal and state privacy laws. Where applicable, we also act as a “controller” for visitors located in the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area (EEA), and other regions with comparable laws.

02 Scope of this policy

This policy applies to personal information we handle when you:

  • register as a supplier (free membership) or buyer (paid membership) on our marketplace;
  • visit, browse, or interact with our website;
  • contact us, subscribe to updates, or communicate with us; or
  • otherwise use any feature of the Synergic Sourcing service.

It does not apply to third-party websites, services, or platforms that we link to but do not control. Their own privacy practices govern your use of them.

03 Information we collect

Information you provide to us

  • Account & profile information — name, business name, role, email address, phone number, country/region, and the account credentials you create.
  • Supplier details — company information, product categories, catalogue details, and other business information you choose to list.
  • Buyer membership & payment — when you purchase a buyer membership, your payment is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and processes your card and billing details directly; we do not see or store full card numbers. We retain records such as your membership tier, transaction reference, and billing email.
  • Communications — messages, enquiries, support requests, and any information you include when you contact us.

Information we collect automatically

When you use our website, we and our analytics providers collect certain technical information:

04 How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and manage supplier and buyer accounts;
  • operate the marketplace and connect relevant suppliers and buyers;
  • process buyer memberships and payments through Stripe;
  • provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
  • send service messages, and — with your consent where required — marketing updates;
  • understand how our website is used so we can improve it;
  • protect against fraud, abuse, and security risks; and
  • comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.
About our marketplace model: Synergic Sourcing facilitates wholesale transactions between businesses. We use business contact and listing information to match suppliers and buyers. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their own marketing.

06 Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, measure traffic, and improve performance.

  • Essential cookies — required for login, sessions, and security. The site will not function correctly without them.
  • Analytics cookies — we use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our site. Microsoft Clarity captures usage metrics and masked session recordings and heatmaps (form fields and sensitive content are automatically hidden). These providers process this data on our behalf; learn more in Google’s and Microsoft’s privacy resources, and opt out of Google Analytics using Google’s browser add-on.
  • Email cookies/pixels — our email marketing tool may use small tracking pixels to tell us whether our messages were opened or clicked.

Analytics cookies (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) load only after you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline or ignore the banner, no analytics tags or cookies are set. You can change your choice by clearing this site’s data in your browser, and you can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Essential cookies are always required for the site to function.

If Synergic Sourcing is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, personal information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.

08 International data transfers

Because we serve suppliers and buyers worldwide and use service providers based in the United States and other countries, your personal information may be stored or processed outside your home country, including outside the EEA and the UK.

These countries may have data-protection laws that differ from those where you live. When we transfer information across borders, we take steps to ensure it remains protected — for example, by using providers that offer recognized safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) and by limiting access to what is necessary. By using our service, you understand that your information may be processed in these locations.

09 Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy — for example, while your account is active, to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, and to resolve disputes or enforce agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Retention periods vary by data type and applicable law.

10 How we protect data

We use technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including encrypted connections, access controls, and trusted service providers such as Stripe for payments. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; if a breach affects your information and the law requires it, we will notify you and the relevant authorities.

11 Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • withdraw consent or object to certain processing;
  • request deletion or restriction of your information;
  • request a portable copy of certain information; and
  • unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first.

Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority — for example, your state authority in the U.S., or your supervisory authority in the UK/EEA.

12 Marketing & communications

We send commercial messages in line with the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable laws. Where required, we obtain consent before sending marketing emails, clearly identify ourselves, and include an unsubscribe option in every marketing message. You can opt out of marketing at any time without affecting essential service messages (such as billing or security notices).

13 Children & age

Synergic Sourcing is a business-to-business service intended for adults acting on behalf of a business. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

14 Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

15 Contact us
